What budget should you allow for a padel court?
Start with the site condition and the scope of the quote. The 2026 US Padel Court Builders guide gives a reference of around $50,000 on a usable base, reaching $100,000 with new foundations. This is one builder’s estimate, not a statistical market average.
Which costs belong in your construction quote?
Court equipment and assembly. Specify the model, frame, glass, turf, net, warranties, freight, unloading and installation. Check whether lighting is included before adding it as a separate cost.
Site preparation. Request separate scope for the survey, earthworks, foundation, anchors, drainage and electrical connection. Ground conditions and delivery access can change what is required.
Additional project costs. Confirm engineering, permits, taxes, potential import duties and exclusions. The chart below illustrates the simulation catalogue’s cost allocation. It is neither a site-specific quote nor an average US construction price.
Kit de pista más cada partida de obra, para una pista estándar antes del coeficiente regional. Total 112.600 US$.
Can you build a padel court on an existing slab?
An existing slab can reduce site work if it is suitable for the proposed court. Have its dimensions, condition, anchoring capacity and drainage checked before relying on it in the budget. An old tennis court is not automatically a suitable foundation.
The FIP specifies an internal playing surface of 20 × 10 m. The enclosure, circulation and site access require additional space. For an indoor project, also check clear height and building constraints. Our turnkey installation service helps define the installation and site-work scope together.
How do indoor and outdoor project budgets differ?
Price the building separately from the court. In an existing indoor venue, assess delivery access, clear height, ventilation, lighting and any adaptations needed for public use. A new canopy adds a structural project with its own specification.
Outdoor projects need assessment of wind exposure, drainage, local conditions and permitted operating hours. A single percentage uplift cannot reliably convert an outdoor budget into an indoor one. Compare alternatives using the same court count and equipment specification.
What changes if you finance the court?
Financing the court does not eliminate the upfront site-work budget. In our offer, site works are priced separately and paid at the start. The agreement defines the financed scope, any initial payments and the ongoing monthly commitment.
Compare cash needed before opening, recurring expenses and total contractual payments. Allow separately for insurance, staffing, booking operations and launch activity. The padel court leasing versus buying guide explains how to assess the choice against your available cash.
How do you get a quote for your site?
Provide your city, court count and current site condition. Include photos or a plan, whether the project is indoor or outdoor, and your intended opening date. If a slab already exists, share any available technical information.
These details help establish what can be reused, which works are needed and what can be financed. Request a project assessment for a proposal separating upfront site works from court financing. If you already have supplier proposals, include their scope and exclusions so the comparison covers the same work.
